Florida now has the nation's lowest coronavirus rate.

The latest figures show Florida has the fewest daily COVID-19 cases per capita, a huge reversal in just two months.

In August, Florida's average daily new case rate of about 25,000 was the highest in the nation, and one of the highest in the world.

Over the past two months, Florida's rate has fallen by more than 90%, to around 1,700 new cases per day.
