Every state is now reporting a rise in COVID cases.
The nationwide average is up 65% in the last seven days, more than doubling just in the past two weeks. California is taking new action a month after it officially reopened.
Starting tomorrow, millions in Los Angeles County will need to mask up again inside public places whether they're vaccinated or not. This comes as the delta variant accounts for nearly 60% of new infections.
