If you've watched Netflix's latest smash,Squid Game, you'll notice a phone number on that the back of the business card every child's game player receives.
It turns out that the phone number is very real and the woman who owns it has received thousands of calls since the show premiered on September 17th.
The woman toldKoreaboo "After Squid Game aired, I have been receiving calls and texts endlessly, 24/7, to the point that it’s hard for me to go on with daily life... There are more than 4,000 numbers that I’ve had to delete from my phone. My phone’s battery is drained and turns off."
Netflix has announced it would edit scenes to remove the phone number, writing "Together with the production company, we are working to resolve this matter, including editing scenes showing the phone number where necessary."
