7'5" NBA Rookie Tacko Fall Concussed After Hitting His Head On Low Ceiling

Boston Celtics rookie Tacko Fall suffered a concussion after working out at the team's practice facility. The 7'5" center was washing his hands when he hit his head on a low ceiling.

Fall didn't think much of it at the time and went about his day. After attending an event at the Charlestown Boys and Girls Club, Fall returned to Auerbach Center to put in more work. It wasn't until the next morning when Fall noticed the effects of the concussion.

He was placed into the NBA's concussion protocol but expects to be cleared to play soon.

"Very close (to a return) from what I've been told," Celtics head coach Brad Stevens told reporters. "But he wasn't going to be active anyway."

Fall went undrafted in the 2019 NBA draft but was signed by Celtics as a free agent. He looked good in the NBA Summer League but didn't get much playing time in the preseason. The Celtics signed him to a two-way contract, and he is expected to spend most of his time playing in the G League this year.
