Honolulu police have arrested a suspect in connection with a stabbing that happened Sunday night in Waipahu.  The 71-year-old suspect was arrested just before 6 p.m. Wednesday at his Kahualoa Place home.  The victim, identified as 42-year-old Marlo Basuel, got into a fight with two other men at a Kahuanani Street home at about 9:45 p.m.  During the fight, police say one man pulled out a dangerous instrument and stabbed Basuel.   He was transported to a hospital in extremely critical condition, and died there three hours later. Police are not saying if the man arrested is the primary suspect. If he is, second-degree murder charges could be pending.
