A Department of Land and Natural Resources official says his department has seen substantial injuries to corals of various species below the water, after the 233,000 gallons of molasses spilled into Honolulu Harbor a month ago.   Frazer McGilvray, administrator for the Division of Aquatic Resources, says whether the coral will recover depends on the "ecological conditions." He didn't have estimates on the total area damaged or the extent of the coral damaged. DLNR officials continue to survey the full scope of damage to the coral, fish and other marine life in the waters there.
