A federal judge sentenced car dealer Alan Pflueger's executive assistant Julie Ann Kam to one year of probation this morning for tax fraud. Kam pleaded guilty last year to failing to report as income money the car dealership paid for her corrective eye surgery and her car loan. U.S. District Judge Leslie Kobayashi also fined Kam $500 and ordered her to perform 50 hours of community service. Pflueger was sentenced Friday to 15 months for failing to report as income hundreds of thousands of dollars the dealership paid to cover his credit card and other personal expenses.
