The city will close a city park and surrounding sidewalk in Pawaa, which is now used by the homeless as a campsite, for two weeks beginning Thursday for a maintenance project. Pawaa In-Ha Park, near South King and McCully streets will close from Thursday through October 9th for tree trimming, grass cutting, aerating, fertilizing and other routine maintenance. The sidewalk along the Mauka side of King Street, fronting the park, will also be closed.
