NASA Scraps Test Launch of 'Flying Saucer'

Weather conditions were not just right again Wednesday, so NASA officials have delayed the test launch of the Low Density Supersonic Decelerator spacecraft at the U.S. Navy's Pacific Missile Range Facility on Kauai. There's just one more try on Saturday, June 14. The spacecraft, which is shaped like so-called flying saucer, will gather data about landing heavy payloads on Mars and other planet surfaces.
