The jury in the Naeem Williams death penalty case has returned a sentence and spared the former Schofield Barracks soldier a death sentence. Jurors reportedly could not reach a unanimous verdict, so Williams will spend life in prison. Jurors also said they were "emotionally drained" from the deliberations. Williams was found guilty in April of murdering his five-year-old daughter in 2005. He faced life in prison or the death penalty.
