The man accused of murder of a woman whose body was found in a Waikiki dumpster October 29th is scheduled for an initial appearance in court today.  Forty-six-year-old Joseph Kahawai is charged with second-degree murder in connection with the death of 51-year-old Janine Meyer.  Honolulu deputy medical examiner Dr. Masahiko Kobayashi said Meyer died of asphyxiation and determined the cause of death was homicide.  Kahawai remains in custody on $1 million bail.
