A 43-year-old man was fatally shot by police in the back yard of a Waipahu home Saturday morning. Police were called to a home on Hiapo Street just before 3:30 a.m. when the man called 911.   The Honolulu Star-Advertiser reports a police spokeswoman confirmed a police officer shot a man at a home in Waipahu early Saturday morning. Paramedics responding to the call found a man dead of multiple gunshot wounds. Meanwhile, the brother of the victim is accusing police of using excessive force.  However, the Honolulu Star-Advertiser reports that brother was not at the home at the time of the shooting.  Police scheduled a news conference to release information regarding this incident.
