Lane closures for the H-1 Freeway Rehabilitation Project have shifted. Two lanes will be closed in each direction between Likelike Highway and Ward Avenue, and traffic cones will be set up in a snaking pattern around the work. Drivers will have to pay attention and drive slowly, because the lane patterns will be modified as the work areas change. The cones will be removed by 4:30 a.m. each work day. This work will continue for the next few months. Also, lane closures will continue on the H-1 freeway in the townbound direction between the H-1/H-2 merge and the Pearlridge- Waimalu off-ramp from 6 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. Monday through Friday for viaduct repairs. There will also be single right lane closures on the H-1 freeway - Ewa bound between the Pearl City-Waimalu off-ramp and the Waikele-Waipahu off-ramp from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, for deck widening work and street lighting installations. Single left lane closures will happen on the H-1 freeway - townbound between the Radford Drive overpass and the Airport off-ramp from 9:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. weekdays for electrical conduit installations. There will also be more nightwork on the Halawa interchange of the H-3 freeway, where one lane will be closed in both directions from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m. Monday through Friday for pavement resurfacing. And, left lane closures will be in effect on the Moanalua freeway in the ewa direction between the Puuloa Road overpass and the Ala Kapuna Street overpass from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday for median landscaping.
