A circuit judge scheduled jury selection for State Department special agent Christopher Deedy's murder retrial for June 16th.  Judge Karen Ahn is expecting the trial to begin possibly in late June, once the panel is selected.  It was also revealed in a hearing today that Honolulu Thomas Otake will be the new lead counsel for Deedy.  Attorney Brook Hart will still represent Deedy, but in a less prominent role.  Deedy is accused of killing 23-year-old Kollin Elderts at a Waikiki McDonald's in November 2011.  The first trial ended in a mistrial after the jury was deadlocked 8 to 4 in favor of acquittal.
