A military jury last night convicted a Hawaii-based Army officer of unauthorized possession of classified documents and giving a document with classified assessments of Cambodia to a person not entitled to have it. Seven Army officers also convicted Major Seivirak Inson of possessing a U-S Pacific Command maritime strategy document and other military intelligence documents that he wasn't authorized to have. He was acquitted of collecting information on service members of Cambodian descent with the intention of giving information to Cambodian military and government officials. Inson was formerly assigned to the U-S Pacific Command, but is now with the 8th Theater Sustainment Command at Fort Shafter. Inson faces up to ten years in prison.
