Eight former Kamehameha Schools students are suing the school alleging it did not protect them from a psychiatrist who allegedly molested them. Honolulu attorney Michael Green filed a lawsuit on behalf of the students Tuesday.  Kamehameha Schools spokesman Kekoa Paulsen says the school can't comment on the suit, because officials haven't seen it. All of the students attended the school in the 1970s and had been ordered to see Dr. Robert Browne, a psychiatrist at the former St. Francis hospital. State law extended the statute of limitations in child sex abuse cases. Browne shot and killed himself in 1991 after a former student confronted him about the abuse over the phone. The suit also names Browne's estate and the hospital.
