City workers went to Thomas Square last night and essentially dismantled (de)Occupy Honolulu's protest encampment. A single tent remained there this morning. The city issued seven notices citing the new Sidewalk Nuisance Ordinance and five more with the Stored Property Ordinance. Sugar Russell, a (de)Occupy Honolulu spokeswoman, told the Honolulu Star-Advertiser "all raids on the houseless are inhumane, counter-productive, and are legally actionable.
