A state bill that would allow ATVs on streets is working its way through the legislature. Monday, the Senate Committee on Judiciary and Labor recommended it be passed. Senate Bill 2726 would allow the vehicles to be driven on streets if they are being used as farm equipment. The operator would be required to have a current category three license or a commercial driver’s license. The operators and passengers would need to wear safety helmets that have a chin strap.
