Big Isle Fugitive Turns Himself In

A man Big Island police sought in connection with a domestic violence case Monday night in Hilo, is in custody.  Thirty-five-year-old Justin Lee turned himself in at the Hilo police station at 8:15 p.m. Tuesday.  He is accused of running over his 41-year-old girlfriend during an argument, with a vehicle. He then fled on foot.  The woman was taken to Hilo Medical Center, then transferred to a hospital in Honolulu for further treatment. He was arrested on suspicion of first-degree assault and second-degree reckless endangering, bail jumping, contempt of court and violating the terms of release.
